Dahil sa hangarin na mabigyan ng magandang buhay at kinabukasan ang pamilya, lumayo tayo sa kanila. Bagama’t ito ay mahirap labanan sinikap nating pansamantalang iwaksi ito sa ating mga puso at isipan ang pangungulila sa kanila. At tayo’y tuluyang naglayag sa ibayong-dagat upang doo’y tutuparin ang ating mga pangarap.
Nang iwanan natin ang Pinas at pamilya ang tanging baon natin ay lakas ng loob para harapin ang anumang mangyayari sa bansang daratnan. At likas sa ating mga Pinoy na hindi basta sumusuko. Tayo ay adbinturista at marunong dumiskarte. Tayo’y lumalaban sa anumang dagok ng buhay na ating sinusuong saan mang lupalop ng mundo tayo’y nandodoon.
Pero hindi lahat ang naga-abroad ay kasaganaan sa buhay ang nararanasan. Ang iba sa atin ay halos isumpa at nangagsisi kung bakit lumabas pa ng bansa – dahil hindi sapat ang sinasahod para sa buwanang gastos ng pamilya at sarili. Ang iba sa atin ay tumatanggap ng sahod pagkatapos ng tatlong buwan (ATM).
Nguni’t sa kabila nito tayo ay naririto parin kahit inaabuso na ng ating mga pinaglilingkurang amo. Hindi pa rin natin makuhang magreklamo at ipaglaban ang ating mga karapatan dahil sa takot na tayo ay mawalan ng trabaho, lalu na sa tuwing sasagi sa isipan natin ang mga utang na hindi pa natin nababayaran na pinambayad sa placement fee.
Nguni’t papaano kung tayo ay nanghina dahil dinapuan tayo ng karamdaman at tayo ay natanggal sa trabaho? Gaano tayo kahanda nito? Papaano pa natin tutuparin ang ating mga pangarap para sa ating mga minamahal sa buhay?
Ano ang dapat natin gawin, Kabayan?

Internet forums, or message boards, are online discussion sites. People participating in Internet forums may cultivate social bonds and interest groups for a topic that may form from the discussions. Forums are governed by a set of individuals, collectively referred to as staff, made up of administrators and moderators, which are responsible for the forums’ conception, technical maintenance, and policies (creation and enforcing). Most forums have a list of rules detailing the wishes, aim and guidelines of the forums creators.
For Network Marketers please bear in mind that an online forum is a good place too for prospecting people to join with your network aside from offline prospecting. In joining a forum it is simply and easy to follow.
1. Look and join relevant forums that are in some way related to the promotion’s primarrily in sales market or in network marketing. For example, someone is involved with a health related product. Many types of forums could apply here. Everything from holistic medicine and to other types.
2. Of course, you have to choose popular forums. Do not waste your time and energy on forums having few members and few posts. Page ranking and the amount of active members are two good ways to check for this.
3. You have to choose forums that allow signature tags. Read the rules before joining and pay attention to them. Your time is important, too. It is better to find out if that forum allows posts with signature tags before joining.
After you have joined in the forum the next things you would do:
1. Keep your signature tag short and update it regularly. The ideal thing is to limit yourself to one link, preferably to your main website or blogsite.
2. Do not create posts that are nothing more than an advertisement. This is all but a universal rule and it only displays the marketers lack of experience.
3. Become an active member on the forum. At least spend an hour each day there and take the time to get to know other users or members. Introduce yourself in a friendly manner.
At the time you became a regular member and has developed some good and friendly relationships with other members in the forum you can now start your prospecting.

Direct Selling booms in the midst of economic crisis

As many sectors feel the pinch from the global downturn, the direct selling industry appears to go from strength to strength.

Figures from 2008 & first quarter of 2009 global revenues from direct selling shows a rapid growth in the sector especially within the Middle East region.
Direct selling is a $114bn industry which involves more than 62 million distributors worldwide, according to the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. It is the sale of a consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location, which has become a large part of the economy in many countries.
There appears to be specific reasons why the sector fares well during times of economic turmoil. At a time when many UAE residents may welcome a way to supplement their income direct selling provides an ideal platform for many to boost their earning capacity as independent contractors.
